Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Scorpion Labs ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our mobile games and applications, including Sudoku Original, Flap King Infinity and Chess Realms (together, the "Games"), and this website. By using our Games, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Sudoku Original has its own Sudoku Original Privacy Policy with the details for that game, including its optional Sign in with Google, cloud backup and online battles.

1. Information we collect

You don't need an account to play our Games, and we don't ask for personally identifiable information such as your name, address or phone number. Sudoku Original offers an optional Sign in with Google, described below.

Some information is collected automatically by our Games or by the third-party services they use:

• Device information – device model, operating system version, language, screen size and similar technical data.
• Advertising identifiers – such as the Android Advertising ID and, where available, Android's Privacy Sandbox advertising APIs, used to serve and measure ads.
• Player identifier – a random player ID that Sudoku Original creates on your device for online battles. It is not linked to your name or email address unless you sign in.
• Google account (optional, Sudoku Original) – if you choose Sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address and keep a backup of your game progress on our server, so you can restore it on another device. You can delete them at any time; see the Sudoku Original Privacy Policy.
• Online battles (Sudoku Original) – your player ID, chosen display name and battle progress are sent to our server while you play a battle, and shown to the other players in that battle.
• Diagnostics – crash and performance information collected by these services to keep ads and the Games working properly.
• Approximate location – derived from your IP address by our advertising partner for ad relevance and fraud prevention. We don't request precise GPS location.

Game progress and settings, such as scores, statistics and preferences, are stored on your device.

Notifications: Sudoku Original and Chess Realms can send reminders, such as a daily challenge reminder, if you allow notifications. They are scheduled on your device and can be turned off in the Game or in your Android settings.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.

2. How we use information

• To operate, maintain and improve the Games.
• To display advertisements, including personalized ads where you have consented.
• To analyze usage trends and fix bugs and crashes.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and invalid ad traffic.
• To respond to your support requests and feedback.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party services

Our Games use the following third-party services, which may collect information used to identify your device. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob – advertising and ad consent (Google User Messaging Platform), in all our Games
• Google Play – app distribution and Google Play services
• Sign in with Google – optional sign-in in Sudoku Original. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Advertising

Our Games are free to play and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and other information to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure ad performance.

Where required by law (for example, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You may change your choice at any time from the Game's settings, where available.

You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).

5. Children's privacy

Our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a Game is made available to children, ads in that Game are configured in line with applicable laws and Google Play Families policies, including disabling personalized ads.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data retention

We keep information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. A Sudoku Original account link and cloud backup are kept until you delete your account in the game or ask us to delete them.

7. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information held about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent.
• Opt out of personalized advertising.

Apart from an optional Sudoku Original account, we do not directly collect identifying information, so many requests are best handled through your device's settings or with the relevant third-party provider. A Sudoku Original account can be deleted in the game (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by asking us. You can always contact us and we will help where we can. You can also stop all collection by uninstalling the Game.

9. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not load content from third-party servers. It is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser type in server logs to deliver the site securely. 10. International transfers

Our third-party service providers may process information in countries other than your own. These providers apply appropriate safeguards as described in their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Games after changes means you accept the revised policy.
